This week I saw...

...een viltwerkje

.... a piece of felt

.... veel regendruppels

.... lots of raindrops

... en een Pippi die veeeeeeel geduld moet hebben 

met haar nieuwe zusje!

Ze wordt overal door Betsy achtervolgt want die wil het 

liefst de hele dag met haar spelen en knuffelen

(maar Pippi niet!).

... and Pippi who has to have lots of patience with

her new sister!

Betsy is following her everywhere because she wants 

to play and cuddle with her

(but Pippi doesn't!)

Laboratory rabbit

Tijdens het opruimen voor onze verhuizing kom ik ook nog veel

onafgemaakte dingen tegen...

Zo zag ik dit proefkonijn van vilt... in haar blootje tussen allerlei andere viltsels.

While cleaning the house for our move, I find lots of unfinished items...

Like this rabbit for instance... bare naked between all sorts of other felt things.

Ik ben absoluut niet handig met naald en draad, maar heb toch mijn best 

gedaan om een jurkje voor haar te freubelen...

Ik heb geen commentaar gehoord dus ze zal wel tevreden zijn!

I'm not at all handy with thread and needle, but I tried my best to make 

a little dress for her....

I didn't hear any complaints so I guess she's allright with it!

Met staart ruimte!

With room for a tail!

Zo, klaar voor de verhuizing!

Nou wij nog.... ;-)

Bets is een schatje! 

Je hoeft maar "ha Bets" tegen haar te zeggen en d'r motor gaat al aan...

Ze is heel knuffelig en grappig... af en toe hobbelt ze achter Pippi aan, die is

nog een klein beetje bang voor 't mormel, maar het begint te wennen...

Geen gegrom meer in ieder geval!

Bets is so cute!

We just have to say " hi Bets" and her engine starts to run...

She's so cuddly and funny... sometimes she follows Pippi, but she's a bit afraid of

the little monster...

But there's no more hissing and growling!

Nou ja, en dit ziet er natuurlijk niet uit... ;-)

And this looks a bit ridiculous of course .... ;-)

Bets is home !

En toen was Betsy er!

Alsof ze hier al jaren woont, zo banjert ze de kamer rond...

And then there was Betsy!

She walks around as if she already lives here for years...

Pippi houdt haar goed in de gaten...

Ze grommen en blazen nog naar elkaar, maar het gaat stukje bij beetje de goede

kant op....

Pippi is watching her closely...

They hiss and growl at each other , but bit by bit it's getting better...

En dan is het bedtijd...

And then it's bedtime...

En dit is er met de schelpjes gebeurd!

Crochet big and small

De deken die ik voor ventje aan het haken ben groeit gestaag...

The blanket I'm making for little guy is growing...

En de varens in de tuin ook!

Ik vind het elk jaar weer leuk om te zien hoe deze "buitenaardse wezens" zich

ontpoppen tot mooie planten...

And so are the ferns in the garden!

Every year I love to see how these "aliens" unfold themselves into pretty plants...

Ik heb voor Pippi een speelballetje gehaakt; en ze speelt er nog mee ook!

Da's altijd maar afwachten namelijk....

Goed strak opgevuld en een beetje kattekruid erin deed 't m waarschijnlijk ;-).

I made a crochet cat toy for Pippi; and she's actually playing with it!

That's always the big question...

I stuffed it very firm and put some cat herb ( cat nip) in it, I guess that did the trick ;-).

En die klompen zijn ook altijd een succes bij haar!

And those clogs are always a big success with her!

Home is where the heart is...

Vakantie is heerlijk, maar thuis is ook genieten!

Wat hou ik toch van dat rivieren landschap met de dijken en die mooie luchten!

On Holiday was terrific, but home is also very enjoyable!

How I love this river landscape with the dikes and those beautiful skies!

De Prunus in ons tuintje staat er ook weer mooi bij....

The Prunus in our little garden is so pretty at the moment....

En hier zit echt een ooievaar hoor...

Hopelijk krijg ik ze nog een keer zichtbaar op de foto!

And there's a stork on this nest, believe me...

Hopefully I'll be able to make a picture where it's also visible!
