Lush May

May has been such a good month for the garden...

Lots of rain, lots of sun so now we can enjoy lots of green and flowers!

Astrantia (Zeeuws knoopje) zo mooi vind... ;-) ?

Did you happen to notice that I love the Astrantia very much at the moment... ;-)?

De moestuinbakken gaan ook goed!

The garden boxes are also doing a great job!

I love those little curls from the pea plants...

If all goes well we will have a few pumpkins in the autumn!

Sorry, nog één...

Sorry, another one...

I hope you can enjoy being outside today too!

Snails and gnomes

And yes, here they are again in their anti- squad houses!

I made some new felted snails for the shop...

And because Merula was so sweet to function as a test-person we found

out that those animals can be sent in the mail; proper snail-mail!!

I swapped two snails for those cute little figures from her shop...

And I am very happy with that because I already had my eye on them for

some time :).

These gnomes are also in the shop window ...

Food for my soul

Zo fijn was ons ochtend wandelingetje.....

Ik wens jullie ook een super zondag!

And also: a soft breeze, birdsong, the lovely fragrance of forest and heath

warmed by the sun...

So very nice was our morning walk....

I wish you all a super Sunday too!

Sheephead and peony

onderwerpen....

Sounds like some rather strange recipe, doesn't it?

But I had to come up with a title for this combination of

subjects...

I felted this little sheepshead with wool from a mountain sheep and

a Drents Heideschaap (that's a Dutch breed).

Soon I'll put it in my shop,

until then it will accompany me in my workroom.

(Where it is save from Betsy!)

That was the sheepshead part, now for the peony.

Yes, the same one as in my last post, but now completely open :).

Before it was going to rain like mad i put it in a little

vase to enjoy it inside, so that it wouldn't be damaged.

And now it it stealing the show in the kitchen, high on a shelf

so that the cats can not damage it ...

I hope we can enjoy it a bit longer this way!

Do you have some favourite flowers at the moment?

Garden update

Deze pioenroos is net vanmorgen uitgekomen... zóó mooi!

This peony is just in bloom... sóó very pretty!

The garden lay out is about ready, now everything can grow and flower.

(Yay, I can use my tablecloth outside now!)

From old branches and bark we made some paths.

With buxus we made a sort of separate little garden for cutting flowers.

I sowed cosmea, lupine and lathyrus, and there are phloxes, irises , astrantia,

eachinea and delphinium.

It looks so bare now, but then it's only just planted....

I just love a full garden with lots to see and smell!

Hele fijne zonnige maandag allemaal!

Have a great and sunny Monday!

And the winner is:...

Men neme: een goed uitgeruste notaris...

You need a well rested notary...

... Yo! Wakker worden!!

... Wake up!!!

And a little bowl containing all the names...

( Isn't that handy, a British shorthair hahaha, apparently

she thinks in English :))

And this is what the notary choose!

Congratulations Ellen!

Everyone thanks a lot for joining my give away!

Round and round ....

Lijkt me een prachtig gezicht !

It seems I can only crochet in circles these days!

Fortunately it's also great fun to do...

The pattern on the right is from Attic 24,

made for using a large wall display full of crochet mandala's.

That must be an amazing sight!

This one is also going in the post to England...

And there I was, wondering how to use those mandala's...

I should have known of course !

windhozen.

My round tablecloth is also finished!

I can't use it outside yet because of all the rain and wind....

Pretty big, isn't it?

Like this it's also nice I think.

It certainly brightens up the room a bit in this nasty weather!

Wishing you a nice Monday, hopefully indoors

with a nice cup of hot tea or something... ;-)
